Target’s Makeup Must-Haves

If you are not shopping at Target for makeup, you are missing out. Do not let the low prices fool you – Target has products that are just as good as Sephora and Ulta. To prove that you can achieve an affordable full face of makeup, I have put together some of the best products that Target has to offer. Whether you are new to the makeup world or are restocking your favorite drugstore find, Target is your one-stop shop for cost-effective makeup.

The Base

Primer: The Wet n Wild 3-in-1 Primer Water ($4.99) is as easy as it gets. This product is both a primer and a setting spray that has a refreshing coconut scent comparable to MAC Fix+ ($28).

Foundation: My holy grail foundation is the Maybelline FIT ME! Matte + Poreless Foundation ($5.39). It is high-end quality for less than $10, and has a shade range that beats many luxury brands.

Concealer: You can not go wrong with the e.l.f. 16hr Camo Concealer ($6). Whether you lost sleep studying, or were up all night partying, this concealer has you covered while also giving you a bang for your buck.

The Eyes

Eyebrows: I refuse to leave home without my eyebrows on, and my go-to product for years has been the NYX Microbrow Pencil ($9.99). The Target find compares to a more popular pencil while saving you $11.

Eyeshadow: The Maybelline City Mini Palettes ($6.49) are extremely pigmented and come in seven different color stories. These palettes can be found at Ulta for $9.99, so the Target price point is something to take advantage of.

Mascara: The L’Oreal Lash Paradise ($9.99) checks all the boxes when it comes to mascara. The mascara is lengthening, thickening and does not flake off. It is comparable to the Too Faced mascara, but at a more affordable cost that can not be beat.

Nice-to-Haves

Blush: The Milani Baked Blushes ($6.99) are a classic because they give a healthy glow to the skin. They easily compare to the NARS blushes that can be found at Sephora for over four times the Target price.

Highlighter: If you are on a budget and looking for that glazed-donut glow, the Maybelline Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter ($7.99) is going to be your best friend.

Lipstick: The perfect everyday nude lipstick is the Maybelline Color Sensational ($5.99) in the shade Baddest Beige. It has just the right amount of shine to top off your Target look.
