Does your local Target look like a hurricane ran through it and wiped out the cleaning and toiletry aisles? Following the coronavirus outbreak, shoppers all over the world are panic-buying daily necessities such as toilet paper and paper towels as a means to prepare for a possible quarantine. However, people are buying products quicker than they can get stocked, so many retailers are limiting the purchase of cornavirus-related products.
As demand for cleaning products, medicines, canned goods and toiletry items remains high, Target plans to send more trucks full of products to their stores as quickly as they can. Additionally, customers at Target cannot buy more than six of the following: disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizes and hand and face wipes.
Target has announced its plans to keep stores clean and stocked amid the COVID-19 outbreak. The company has added more hours to payroll for extra cleaning, despite some employee fears of coming to work. The stores have adopted the practice of wiping down checkout lanes and touchscreens every 30 minutes. Extra staff have been added to the Order Pickup and Drive Up services and stores have stopped giving out food samples.

If you are nervous about getting household supplies amid shoppers panic-buying, not to worry. Another truck will arrive at your Target soon with the items you need. Also, do not forget that toilet paper will not save you. Be sure to wash your hands, avoid contact with people who are sick, stay home if you are sick and cover your sneezes and coughs.
